
Kerry Group is a global leader in food ingredients, consumer foods and flavours. They needed a logistics service provider who understood the issues involved with the transport of food and dairy, and who was fully accredited. Kerry also needed an organisation to help maintain its inventory, warehouse and distribution demands.
Wettenhalls introduced a project team to establish all of Kerry Group's logistics requirements, who then executed a major relocation plan. From there, a number of number of system reports for inventory control were developed, including an on-line inventory management system. In addition, Wettenhalls provided dedicated staff and resources to the daily operations.
Kerry saw a marked increase in warehouse productivity, transparent and effective warehouse management, and the ability to service all logistics elements with an increased level of customer service.
