HACCP Accreditation
Wettenhalls Group enjoys a long history, vast experience and a thorough understanding of the unique issues and safety requirements of food transport; indeed since the company's inception over 80 years go Wettenhalls has always carted food and dairy products.
Today, Wettenhalls is fully HACCP Accredited, undertaking an annual audit conducted by SAI Global, an internationally recognised company that provides independent assessment, certification and registration services for Standards and Compliance, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points). HACCP Accreditation includes an overview of Food Safety Hazards, with in-depth study of the seven principles; Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points, Critical Limits, Monitoring and Sampling, Corrective Action, Verification and Record Keeping. Â
As a result of this HACCP Accreditation, Wettenhalls is qualified to identify and control food safety hazards, understand and comply with the regulatory and supply chain requirements, implement the steps and principles of HACCP, and finally implement and document a HACCP plan in accordance with all legislative and CODEX requirements.
