Who are the Wettenhalls Group
Founded in 1925 as Amezdroz & Menzies, the Wettenhalls Group is now one of Australia's leading national providers of fully integrated 'end to end' logistics services.
The Wettenhalls Group began in Colac in the western region of Victoria, with one customer (Regal Cream, now Bulla Dairy Foods), one truck and one man. Today, we span the entire country with a network of 14 sites, a fleet including 180 trucks and over 300 trailers, a workforce of 500 people and over 700 clients. We move over 1 million tonnes of freight with a turnover in excess of $120 million each year.
And we will keep moving forward. Over the next few years the Wettenhalls Group will continue to grow. We will operate over 35 sites nationally, move over 1.6 million tonnes of freight a year, and have a turnover of more than $250 million. Our workforce of over 1,000 employees will help service more than 1,100 customers throughout the country and beyond. However there are some things that won't change in the future at Wettenhalls; our core values.
Over 80 years ago we began carting food and dairy; freight that needed special care and attention. Today we're still carting food and dairy (and everything else) and we continue to be recognised throughout the country for our unrivalled level of service and attention to detail.
